  1. Happy Holidays you two, and a great birthday upcoming, Pam! I doubt Powroll is functional without you. Texas is OK. Ancient YZ 80 joins MPH/CC club at drags this week- 15s and 80s for the humorous YZ w/ roadrace wheels, lowered. H2 is too hostile to open up in 3rd, 4th or 5th. XR100 may get XR80 head cut .020″, since compression is only 165 lbs w/ overlap cam and .035″ squish. (Opinion?) Ninja 250 needs Drag testing, but YZ has been too much fun. Enjoy your collective adventures! Come stay in my teepee in countryside in southern Fredericksburg.

  2. Hey Scott! I sure miss working at Powroll, and especially miss my favorite customers :) Hopefully someday soon the market will rebound and I’ll have a job there again. Of course, I’ll have forgotten everything I knew and have to re-learn it all.

Sounds like you’re having an awesome time, glad to hear the little YZ and XR are both still in your stable and seeing some track time. Why not start out with the stock XR80 head squish and do a dry assembly to see what kind of compression you get, then deck it if you want more? You’ll know you’ve gone too far when the studs start to stretch!

What do you think?
